The church is located in the centre of Kingston, adjacent to the market place. Some streets in the centre of Kingston, including the Market Place, are pedestrianised, and there is a one-way traffic system around them, the map below shows the location of the church and some of the nearest car parks. The postcode is KT1 1JP. The OS grid reference of the church is TQ 179693.
On Sundays the church is generally open. The tower door is inside the church in the NE corner of the tower crossing where you will find the tower door. If it is open, feel free to come up and join us. If it is locked, or there is a notice saying there is a peal or quarter peal in progress, please do not disturb us.
On practice nights, entrance is via the North door, opposite John Lewis department store. This door will be closed, but unlocked. Come in, and one of the ringers will be waiting there.
NB. The door is locked soon after 20:00, and in order to alert the ringers you will need to ring the bell on the North side of the church.
How to get to the tower
By train. Come to Kingston station, cross the main road in front of the station to a small street, Fife Road. Follow this as it curves to the right and then to the left; at the end (opposite Marks and Spencer), turn right and in 100 yards you will see the church on the left.
By bus. From Teddington or Hampton, get off at the John Lewis store, (Wood Street on the bus announcements), the church is opposite.
From the East or South, for most routes, get off the bus at the town centre, and follow the main pedestrianised shopping street, past Marks and Spencer and the Bentall Centre till you see the church on the left. Routes 281 from Tolworth and X26 from Croydon continue to the Wood Street stop which is right by the church gate.
By bike. There is a bike parking area to the North East of the church (outside White Stuff). On practice evenings you can bring your bicycle into the church.
By car. The Market Place is closed to all vehicles and there is very limited parking in neighbouring streets. The nearest car parks, within distance from the church, are: for those coming from the South or West – Rose Theatre car park, Kingston Hall Road (500 yds), the Fairfield car park, by the Kingfisher swimming pool. (500 yds) or Ashdown Road (500 yds). If you are coming from West or North, you could park in Hampton Wick High Street (meters, but free in the evenings), and walk over the bridge (600 yds). Bentalls and John Lewis have good car parks which are also nearby; Rose Theatre stays open late and is the cheapest currently (Bentalls B has increased their prices).
Opening and closing times of car parks, and charges, vary – it is up to individuals to check that they have paid any charges due, and that the car park will still be open when they wish to leave. There is no free parking in the centre of Kingston, including Sundays. The only free evening parking is at parking meters in Hampton Wick, over the bridge.
